Ashley Best

Twenty years I have been working with clay, experimenting with just about every process I can find in ceramics.  I tend to lean towards processes that allow for spontaneous results, a sort of controlled chaos.  Heavily influenced by Japanese aesthetic concepts such as wabi sabi (perfect imperfection), yugen (subtle grace, unbounded by convention), and others.

I have had the privilege of being a part of Mossy Creek since 2010.
