Nathan Rispler

I live and work in Oatfield Oregon as a full time artist except for 2 months during the summer when I head to Bristol Bay Alaska to commercially fish for Sockeye Salmon.

My work is primarily functional.  I just love to make things that get used.  I create patterns and textures on the surface of my pots by making voids in the glaze where you can see and feel the dark earthy clay.
