It has been my pleasure to be a potter for most of my adult life.  I love feeling and watching each ball of clay on the wheel transform between the centered pull of my fingers into a new form.  The concept that each pot when finished will have a place in someone’s home to function in everyday living has always been very fulfilling to me.

All of my Sun Faces and Face Pots are individually sculpted, using only my fingertips, manipulating the clay from front to back.  Each piece is an original one-of-a-kind relief sculpture.  I strive to give each face ultimate contentment and joy.  No matter what mood I might bring to work, when the pot smiles, I find myself smiling back.  My greatest hope is that they will have the same effect upon others.
